This page explains what happens to the details you give us when you book a pitch. We have kept it short and specific: we only collect what a booking actually needs, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
Who is responsible
Groblads Permakultur AB
Company registration number 559295-7970
Hjärpalyckan Bergsnäs 1, 342 53 Lönashult, Sweden
Email: kontakt@groblads.se
We are the data controller for the details described here. If you have any question about your data, write to the address above.
What we collect, and why
All of it comes from the booking form. We ask for nothing else.
| What | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name | To know who is staying and to greet you when you arrive. |
| Phone number, including the country code you choose | So we can reach you about your stay. |
| Email address | To send your confirmation and your personal booking link. This is the only way we can send you those. |
| Vehicle registration number | To tell vehicles apart on the campsite without having to disturb you. |
| Type of vehicle | To give you a pitch that suits it. |
| Number of adults, and number of children under 15 | Numbers only. We do not ask for the names or ages of anyone travelling with you. |
| Pets | Free text, only what you choose to write. |
| Arrival date and number of nights | The booking itself. Your departure date is calculated from these. |
| Your message to us | Optional, and only what you choose to write. Please do not put health details or anything else sensitive here. |
| Country | Taken from the country code you pick for your phone number. We use it to count roughly where our guests come from, never to identify you. |
| Which pitch you were given, and whether you have paid | To run the campsite. |
We do not take payment on this website, so we never see or store card details, bank details or anything similar.
Your personal booking link
Your confirmation email contains a link that opens your booking so you can change the dates, move to another pitch or cancel. That link contains a long random code which is the only key to your booking. Anyone who has the link can see and change the booking, so please treat it like a ticket and do not share or post it.
Preventing abuse of the booking form
When you complete a booking we store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for one hour, purely to count how many bookings have come from the same connection and stop automated abuse. It cannot be turned back into your address, it is never linked to your booking, and it disappears by itself after an hour.
Our legal grounds
We handle your details in order to make and carry out your booking with us — the agreement between you and the campsite (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). Without them we cannot hold a pitch for you or confirm it.
Counting which countries our guests come from, and blocking automated abuse of the booking form, rest instead on our legitimate interest in understanding and protecting our own business (Article 6(1)(f)).
The tick box on the booking form confirms that you have read this page. It is not a consent tick, and ticking it does not give us permission to do anything beyond what is described here.
Who else sees your details
Nobody outside the campsite, unless the law requires it. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not use your details for marketing.
One supplier necessarily handles the data on our behalf: One.com, the Danish company that hosts this website and delivers our email. They process it only on our instructions, and it is stored within the EU.
How long we keep it
Your booking is deleted automatically 11 months after you leave. This is not a manual routine that can be forgotten — the website removes old bookings on its own every night.
If you cancel, your booking is deleted immediately and your personal link stops working at once.
Your booking record contains no payment information, because payment does not happen on this website. If we invoice you or give you a receipt, that document is a separate accounting record which Swedish bookkeeping law requires us to keep for seven years. It is kept apart from the booking system.
Your rights
You may at any time ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your booking;
- limit what we do with it, or object to it;
- hand your details to you in a portable form.
For most of these you do not need to ask us at all: the link in your confirmation email lets you see your booking, change it or cancel it yourself, and cancelling deletes it. For anything else, write to kontakt@groblads.se and we will answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your details
Please tell us first — it is usually quickest to fix that way. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, imy.se.
Keeping it safe
The booking pages are sent over an encrypted connection. Bookings are stored on the website’s own server and are not published anywhere. The page our staff use to see bookings is protected by a password.
Cookies
The booking system sets no cookies on your device. Nothing you type into the booking form is stored in your browser.
The rest of this website does use cookies, and those are described in our cookie policy.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle bookings we will update this page and change the date at the top.
